Legend of the Seas Day 2

Good Morning Day 2! The night before, we placed our breakfast menu order form outside our room and woke up to so much food as early as 730am. LOL I must be too tired yesterday night that I overestimated my orders way too much LOL =x

We ate together, nua-ed in bed for a little while before taking turns to bathe to wake ourselves up. Wakie wakie, it's Day 2 and we will be in Penang real soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As it was still early, we went to Boutiques of Centrum Shops Onboard (Deck 5) around 10am to check out the USD $10 sales. Nothing caught our eyes. We got bored and returned to our room to rest.

We continued exploring our room and found a fridge. Drinks ain't free though so we didn't open anything of course. Boohooooo.

Here comes the funny story. Brother was figuring out the safe and then it got locked and had a continuous loud ringing sound. He called for help and the safe miraculously stopped ringing. We laughed at ourselves for irritating the staff who picked our call and came to our room to only hear us tell him "Oh it stopped ringing already." LOL.

That also prompted us to dial '53' to try out the room service for our lunch around 12pm++ ...... so shiok to just relax on bed and wait for chicken fillets, fries, sandwiches, chips, fruits and vegetables to be served right into our room!!!!!!!! No need for long queues and waiting time today..... Hip Hip Hurray!

We just wanna relax in bed, chat and watch TV together. We listened to mostly a mixture of English and Chinese pop songs on TV. Lazing in bed felt so good and it's a sign that we're getting more used to our room. Hehe! We even took a short nap after lunch to conserve energy for shopping after the ship's docked at Penang.

At 2pm++, we went to our balcony and were greeted by a bird eye's view of WELCOME TO PENANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful sky, beautiful view, beautiful us!!!!!!!!!! The bright sun... the calming waters..... awww.... I don't wanna leave the balcony!

We got so excited again and rushed to That's Entertainment Theatre (Deck 4) meeting point close to 3pm for our Penang Tour instructions. We prepared our tour tickets, tour group number stickers and seapass cards in our hands!

We were then ushered to Deck 2 to leave the ship to Penang Island. Wooohooooo!!!!!!!!! PENANG, HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hopped onto our bus. Time check: 330pm+ and ready to explore Penang!

See you again tonight Legend of The Seas, NOW SAY HELLO PENANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our eyes had the pleasure of looking at nice sceneries on the bus while we were on our way to Penang Road.....

Famous Penang Laksa - the first mouthful was just so SUPERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No words to describe.

Chendol - not overly special but still alright to eat in the mad hot weather.

CRAZY CROWDS AND QUEUES. It was chaotic because the chendol could not be brought into the laksa area. Everyone just felt lost and most people stood along the streets to gobble up the chendol. CHAOTIC shoutings and scoldings amongst the stall owners, seriously why do this in front of tourists???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We tried not to let our moods get affected and left the chaotic street food area to shop for snacks and clothes.

After shopping, we boarded our tour bus again and headed to Little India to get a better feel of the Indian culture. I guess it's Deepavali period so our tour package brought us to Little India? There was not a single Indian in our tour group but our guide still brought us there..... LOL.

We strolled around and I managed to buy a cute rilakuma small bear at a convenience shop in Little India. LOL! PRO ME, Little India also can buy thing. LOL.

Little India has this Chinese vintage scene too! So old...

We hopped onto our bus to return to our ship......

And look what's awaiting us when we returned to our room!!!!!!!!!!! A cute doggie towel folded by our room attendant to welcome us back!!!! HELLO AGAIN ROOM 7108, LEGEND OF THE SEAS!!!!!!!!!!!! We were also pleasantly pleased with the neatness of our beds.

After we left our shopping stuff in our room, we went for our formal night dinner at Romeo and Juliet Dining Room, Deck 4, Table 68 where we sat with a couple, a small family of 3 and one of the parents' mother. The 10 of us just chatted among ourselves. Everyone looked like Singaporeans so probably that's why we all acted like awkward strangers sitting together. MYOB mindset maybe.

Our dinner menus looked good but the food was nothing too awesome. Everyone left hastily after the desserts.

And we went for night scenery walks onboard Legend of the Seas! Teheeheheheh! We checked out the Shuffleboard, Legend of the Links Golf and Rock Climbing Wall at Deck 10.

Strolling leisurely to digest our dinner, enjoying the views and breeze.......

Chilling at the Solarium, Deck 9 while waiting for the Pizza and Burger Bar to start at 9pm....... Wheeeeeee....

Today, we took the plates of late night snacks back to our room to enjoy! LOL.....

We also started packing all the things we bought at Penang today..... notice my little bear from Little India? :D :D Mummy's looking so sweet with cute doggie btw! :D

And soon we went to bed to after a fulfilling day to await Day 3 Malacca. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~
